Annual Ryegrass is used in mixes where an establishment is needed quickly, then dies off over the winter.
Perennial Ryegrass will return the following year.

Kentucky Bluegrass is an adaptable grass suited well for the Ohio climate. It has tolerance for cold, moderate heat and moderate drought. It is a cool-season grass that thrives best in full sun and can tolerate partial shade. Bluegrass mixes well with other types of grasses.

Fortify Lawn Food - 15,000 sq ft bags. All season long.

Turf Type Fescue is easily the area's favorite. This grass is known for its durability and rapid growth. It tolerates drought and disease better than other types of grass and handles high traffic and loose soil well with it's deep root system. Because it does well in shaded areas, it is a good lawn grass for yards with trees. It does not require a lot of maintenance. It is one of the last of the cold-season grasses to lose its attractive dark green color in the fall.

Straw Alternatives

We carry mulch pellets that are biodegradable, do not have the mess of straw, and hold more moisture. A bag covers 800-1000 sq ft. Great for patch work or small projects.
